My name is Carola Singer and I'm a mortgage associate with Verico Canada First Mortgage. I was born and raised outside of Baden-Baden Germany and lived there until I married a Canadian Forces soldier and immigrated to Canada in 1993. Starting out in Cold Lake we Finally made our roots in Okotoks after my husband took a position with the Calgary Fire Department. Coming from the Black Forest I fell in love with Kananaskis and the Rockies and I love to spend time there with my family .

My journey in finance started back in Germany with a 2 1/2 year finance-education program working for a bank as a financial consultant focusing on investing and lending for four years. After taking a break fro a few years to start a family and build a business I decided to go back into financing and specialize in the mortgage business in Spring of 2007.

Coming from a bank employment environment I decided to service mortgages at a broker level. I love the idea of having 30 plus leading lenders at hand which gives me the opportunity to offer you so many more options, whether you are self-employed, have great credit or bruised credit. Or maybe you would like to invest into rentals, secondary or vacation homes etc. The list goes on and on.
